Client: Joburg Shopping Festival

After all the hard work and planning, all the glitz and glamour, and all the swiping and spending, the Joburg Shopping Festival has come to an end. Together with sponsors Visa, the City of Joburg and the Gauteng Tourism Authority, MojaNation Exchange brought a weekend of spectacular shopping to the economic hub of the African continent.

The team drove the festival from the very beginning, from getting the two malls on board – Sandton City and the Oriental Plaza – to designing the eye-catching logo, to training our festival ambassadors. The Joburg Shopping Festival took place from 30 October to 2 November 2014, enticing both local and international shoppers to take advantage of special offers and amazing deals. The Moja team put in hours of hard work and walked many miles between shops to get shoppers a wide range of discounts and collecting outstanding prizes for the Big Spenders Spin & Win wheel.

When the festival was over, MojaNation drew the two winners of the R30 000 Grand Prize, one from each shopping mall, under the watchful gaze of an independent auditors. We made two giant cheques for Rogers Gumede and Kgabane Maponya and handed them over with some celebratory champagne at our office in Parktown.
