Jacobs Coffee (Mondelez)
There was only one way to launch a new way to enjoy Jacobs Coffee (Ice Cold) – with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, a few tons of beach sand and a typical Jacobs splash (we know from our Mandela Mosaic)! On Sunday 2 March, Jacobs treated fans, celebrities and media to an unforgettable summer experience at ‘The Jacobs Iced Coffee Beach Café’, hosted at Shimmy Beach Club in Cape Town.
The fabulous summer beach party was attended by the cream of the (celebrity) crop. While electro-swing and dance group GoodLuck lit up the dancefloor, the Jacobs Kronung “brr-istas” showed the crowd how to mix up their own iced coffee – from an Irish Cream Martini to a Caramel Chillaccino, you name it!
In true MojaNation style, where nothing is ordinary and everything photoworthy, jaw-dropping sand sculptures of oversized Iced Coffees formed the décor for this event. Designed by us and hand sculpted by a Cape Town-based master sand artist, the sculptures (including a lounge area made entirely of sand) were built with over 60 tons of beach sand!
Top Billing presenters Simba Mhere and Jonathan Boynton-Lee were there to cover the festivities, which were featured on an episode of Top Billing – with a few sneaky cameos from the MojaNation team! It was the cherry on top of a successful (and delicious!) launch.
