The partnering of FNB and PayPal opened up a new channel of easy international payment for South African businesses, a boon particularly for the tourism industry. To introduce themselves to their market, they called on MojaNation Exchange to create an interactive stand for the 2014 Tourism Indaba.
Applying some of what we learned when creating a stand for Visa for the last Indaba, the MojaNation team transformed the stand into a networking space, complete with great coffee – always in demand at the Tourism Indaba! The coffee provided a catalyst for tourism establishments, hotels and tour operators to engage with PayPal and learn how it simplifies payments across borders.
When designing the stand, the aim was to move away from the corporate look of FNB’s previous stands to create an inviting space with a trendy twist. The showpiece of the stand was the enormous Scrabble-like artwork, which interconnected the core benefits of the product. Each letter was custom crafted for the stand, and the MojaNation designers handled the detailed technical process of getting the placement of the letters just right with their usual aplomb.
The stand was a big hit at the Tourism Indaba, and FNB loved the artwork so much that it is now displayed as a permanent feature at their head office! It’s no surprise that MojaNation Exchange will be handling FNB’s future trade show work – and raising the bar every time.
